Getting
to the Club
Errwood Sailing
Club is
located
in the west of the Peak District National Park between Macclesfield
and Buxton.
From
Stockport:
Follow
the A6 to Buxton
as far as the roundabout at the start of the
duel carriageway,
turn right A5004 towards Whaley
Bridge.
Go
through Whaley Bridge town
centre and follow the A5004
(Long Hill) road towards Buxton.
At
the summit of the Whaley
Bridge to Buxton, A5004 (Long Hill) Road,
Follow the signs to the Goyt
Valley by turning tight right.
Follow
the narrow lane down into the
valley where you will find the gated
entrance to the club on the left next to
the reservoir outfall tower on the dam.
From Buxton
Follow
the A5004 (Long Hill) road up
out of Buxton signposted Whaley Bridge.
At
the summit fork left into
the signposted Goyt Valley.
Follow
the narrow lane down into the
valley where you will find the gated
entrance to the club on the left next to
the reservoir outfall tower on the dam.
From Macclesfield
Follow
the B5470 from the Tesco
roundabout towards Whaley Bridge.
At
the Horwich End traffic lights, turn
right and follow the A5004
(Long Hill) road towards Buxton.
At
the summit of the Whaley
Bridge to Buxton, A5004 (Long Hill) Road,
Follow the signs to the Goyt
Valley by turning tight right.
Follow
