Power Boat Course Sat/Sun
April 24th/25th.

This course is suitable for beginners to
power-boating and should lead to RYA level 2 by
the end of the weekend.

Salsa Evening
Errwood
Sailing Club is having a social event on Friday
26th November.
It's
a good opportunity for all our new members to get
to know each other. It will be a Salsa
theme, with a salsa lesson and a
demonstration on how good you could be with a few
more!
Dancing
is not compulsary, but will be encouraged. There
is a bar for those that need further
encouragement, (so catch a lift from someone
else!)
The
evening starts at 7.30, the lesson will be
at 8 oclock, dancing will go on as
late as possible! (maybe depending on how
long the beer lasts!) Unfortunately we have to
charge to pay for the entertainment. (although
I'm hoping some of you will provide lots
of that! )
£5
for adults.
£3 for teenagers.
under 12 free.

The Honda Youth Rib
Championship 2004
The
Royal Yachting Association (RYA), will again run
a National Championship in Rigid Inflatable Boats
(Rib's) for juniors / youths.
There
will be two age groups 8 - 12 and 13 - 16. and
the competition is open to both boys and girls.
Each will be representing their club or
organisation. If you would like to represent
Errwood Sailing Club at one of the regional
finals, contact one of the committee.

Enterprise sailors
Toddbrook S. C. are holding an 'Enterprise
Training Day' on 27th. of March with
John Woodward, It is free to all Enterprise
Association members or you can take part by on
the day for £18.00 which includes one year's
membership of the EA.
This will be followed by a music evening and
supper. There is limited camping on site!
On Sunday 28th. March, TSC will be holding an Enterprise
NW Area open event.

to Chapel-en-le-frith Golf Club
Going to the Annual Dinner and Presenta-
tions at the Chapel-en-le-frith Golf Club?
If you are not sure how to get there, here are
some directions.
Directions from Whaley
Bridge
At the Horwich End Traffic Lights
in Whaley
Bridge, proceed up the B5470
(Old A6) in the
direction of Chapel-en-le-firth.
When you see
the entrance to Combs Sailing Club
on the right,
take the next left in to the Golf Club
on the bend after the lay-by.
If you go past the Hanging Gate pub you have gone
to far!
Directions from
Chapel-en-le-frith
From the centre of Chapel, head
west along the
B5470 (Old A6) towards Whaley
Bridge past the
Police Station. The turning for the Golf
Club is
on the Right hand side of the road just after the
Hanging Gate pub. If you go past
the entrance to Combs Sailing Club, you have gone
to far!

First Aid Course
Our next RYA
First Aid course is to be held at
Errwood on Sunday 29th February 2004.
Start time 9.30 finished by about 2.30. Cost
about £10.
Essential
for anybody considering instructor training and
for all members who want some first aid
